A.E. Petsche Receives Gulfstream's 2005 Small Business Supplier Of The Year Award

A.E. Petsche Recognized for Outstanding Service and Groundbreaking Delivery Concepts

Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas-based A.E. Petsche Co., Inc. recently received the 2005 Small Business Supplier of the Year Award from Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation.

Gulfstream, a subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), is considered the world’s premier general aviation manufacturer. “Recognition by Gulfstream confirms the value that A.E. Petsche customers place on our commitment to service and our on time delivery systems,” said Glenn Davidson, A.E. Petsche CEO.

The Gulfstream award recognizes A.E. Petsche’s outstanding service, exemplified by its staffed in-house supply store in the Mexicali, Mexico, Gulfstream facility. “This innovative concept of inventory management provides customer-focused service and protects against critical shortages by guaranteeing product availability,” said Davidson.

“A.E. Petsche always manages to perform above and beyond the call of duty,” said Marshall Tuck, corporate small business program administrator for Gulfstream. “Their personal service, knowledge of our business and on time delivery system set them apart from many other suppliers we use. With suppliers, it’s not just about ordering, it’s about understanding what we need,” Tuck said.

Gulfstream works with hundreds of small businesses each year and has awarded the Small Business Supplier of the Year award for the past eight years.
