A commercial cargo client was experiencing significant cable abrasion within a semi exposed sliding door. Existing product solutions could not meet the high-flex, yet cut resistant requirements of this demanding environment. Ultimately, the repeated sliding action of the door produced significant damage to the cable jacket and product failure. |

The new 747-400 system required a unique low signal loss (6.5 db) 100 ohm cable design that also needed to be laser markable, constructed of airworthy materials, and housed by a small outside diameter jacket. |
