A.E. Petsche is set to expand its Connector Assembly Area to meet growing customer needsDallas/Fort Worth, Texas, USA – With connector sales nearly doubling over 2006 levels, A.E. Petsche Co., Inc. has begun construction on a new 25,000 square foot connector assembly area at its corporate headquarters in Dallas/Fort Worth. The new connector assembly area will include increased storage and production capacity for over 10,000 connectors per day. The new production area will optimize production flow, minimizing travel and assembly time, reinforcing A.E. Petsche’s commitment to on-time shipments. “The new assembly area will increase our productivity without compromising A.E Petsche’s commitment to quality, which in turn, will increase the connector assembly process and speed up our delivery times. And that’s exactly what customers want,” said Nathan Christiansen– Value Added Production Manager. Along with its new production area, A.E. Petsche will upgrade its existing systems to state-of-the-art assembly management software that will assure quality and short cycle time. A.E. Petsche will also build adjacent work centers that will allow for improved work flow between departments. The new facility is expected to be fully operational by the end of December 2007.
