A.E. Petsche Company Renews Long-Term Agreement With American Airlines Effective June 8, 2001

A.E. Petsche Co., Inc., the world's leading supplier of Mil/Aero wire and cable, announced today that it has renewed and expanded a multi-year agreement with American Airlines. The ZERO-BASE(r) Inventory agreement will allow American Airlines to minimize in-house inventories and assure consistent material flow to numerous points of use.

The revised agreement is related to American Airlines' recent acquisition of Trans World Airlines. The combined company will have a fleet of more than 900 aircraft. The additional aircraft made it necessary for A.E. Petsche Company and American Airlines to review future business goals and objectives and insure the inclusion of the newly acquired Trans World Airlines. A.E. Petsche Company will continue to participate in the American Airlines Supplier Excellence Program (SE2000) for the term of the agreement.
