A.E. Petsche Co., Inc. [Dallas/Fort Worth, TX], the world's leading supplier
of aviation wire, cable and related products, announced the sigining of a new,
long-term supply agreement with SR Technics and SN Technics, the Swissair and
Sabena maintenance/overhaul companies. Under the terms of this agreement, A.E.
Petsche Company will supply a wide range of wire, cable and related products
on a Just-In-Time basis and will utilize the company's ZERO-BASE(r) Inventory
Program. As a result of the contract between these companies, both SR Technics
and SN Technics are expected to reduce further their in-house inventories of
these products and reduce their overall costs of maintaining and sourcing wire,
cable and related products. Products utilized under this agreement will support
SR Technics/SN Technics' current aircraft fleets, as well as their rapidly
growing third party maintenance activities.
A.E. Petsche Company's program of supplying and guaranteeing availability
of a wide range of aircraft electrical spares has been well accepted in the
industry. This recent contract with SR Technics/SN Technics is similar to those
adminstered by A.E. Petsche Company for many of the world's major airlines.
In addition to supporting the needs of SR Technics and SN Technics, this contract
calls for the optional participation of members of the "Qualiflier" group,
which inlcudes a broad range of airline partners throughout the world.
Contract participants will utilize the latest version of the airline's preferred
EDI software - "Spec 2000." A.E. Petsche Company will be required
to ship product to a wide range of maintenance and modification centers worldwide.
