MIL-DTL-55302 (M55302) Rectangular Connectors
MIL-DTL-55302 design specification covers plug and receptacle connectors used with printed circuit
subassemblies and their accessories. These connectors are used in applications that have single-sided printed
wire, double-sided printed wire, and multilayer printed wire which conforms to IPC-D275 and MIL-PRF-31032.
M55302 connectors and accessories are ruggedly constructed, lightweight and small making them ideal for
aerospace, ground based, and commercial applications such as medical and test equipment.
MIL-DTL-55302 box contact connectors are available in horizontal, vertical or reverse entry, with contact
termination types including crimp, dip or hand solder, flex, and wrap post. These connectors are rated for
temperatures between -65°C to 125°C (-85°F to 257°F), and come in contact selections including pin/socket,
straight and right angle with a wide variety of configurations. To assure proper mating, MIL-DTL-55302 is
constructed with guide pins in pin connectors and guide bushings in socket connectors.
